Ethan was born in Colorado Springs, CO, but grew up in the Indiana suburbs of Louisville, KY. His parents are faithful Christians who taught him from a young age that Jesus is worth following with everything. Through the faithful teaching of his parents, Ethan came to faith at the age of seven. He was called to vocational ministry at the age of fifteen while on a mission trip in the mountains of Guatemala. Ethan earned his undergraduate degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College and Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Additionally, he is a TBRI Practitioner. He joined the HHBC staff in the spring of 2018. Ethan's passion is to see children come to know Jesus and to walk alongside parents as they point their families to Christ. He and his wife, Nicole, are expecting their first child, Marcus Andrew, in February of 2021.
